Budi Boné, a talented musician hailing from Bali, Indonesia, embarked on his musical journey in April 2005 when he relocated with his family from Kuta, Bali to Terrigal, Central Coast NSW, Australia.

With his ability to simultaneously play guitar, stomp box, tambourine, conga and sing, Budi creates his own signature live music performance. With a versatile repertoire of more than 250 cover songs spanning rock, country, disco, pop, latin and reggae, he brings a unique touch to every event. 

His impersonation of renowned Jamaican reggae artist Shaggy on XFactor Australia garnered widespread acclaim, accumulating over 3 million views on YouTube. Noteworthy appearances, such as entertaining a crowd of 10,000 at Central Coast Stadium during the NRL Halftime Entertainment for Sea Eagles vs Warriors, further propelled his solo career.

In November 2005, Budi Boné established the Kuta Groove Duo in Terrigal, Central Coast NSW, Australia. Budi then performed for audiences as a solo artist and as part of the Kuta Groove Duo/Band at premier venues and events across Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle Australia and also in Bali, Indonesia. 

Their talent and versatility earned them a Certificate of Excellence from the esteemed online wedding planning platform, Easy Weddings Australia.

Additionally, Kuta Groove Duo has shared the stage with Australian and international artists such as Daryl Braithwaite, Johnny Diesel, Mark Gable (Choir Boys), Kamahl, Dragon, and Donavon Frankenreiter. 

Their percussive musical compositions, diverse musical range, harmonious vocals, and ability to cater to audiences of all ages collectively define the distinctive sound of KUTA GROOVE DUO.

During the weekdays, Budi Boné is a dedicated disability support worker who takes pleasure in assisting individuals with disabilities to enhance their well-being and quality of life.
